The Italian Tourism Co. Ltd. is owned by Italian partners and it is registered in Khartoum, Sudan as tourism company.

It was created in 1999 by Maurizio Levi and Elena Valdata, who both have a long experience in organizing archaeological tours and desert expeditions (since 1986) in Sudan and in others Saharan countries.

The offices of the Company are located in the residential area of Khartoum, just close to the international airport, and the staff is made up of five Italians tour leaders (English and French speaking), Meroe Tented Camp and Karima Rest-House Italian managers and fully-trained Sudanese staff including experienced desert drivers and cooks.

The Company also owns two newly-built permanent properties, new built, (the first ones in Northern Sudan) to accommodate the tourists during the tours along the Nile valley. There the most exiting archaeological sites can be found. In Karima, just south of the 4^th Cataract, a 10 rooms a Rest-House, and in Meroe, close to the pyramids of the necropolis of the kings, a luxury tented camp.

Our fleet is made of 4WD cars (Toyota Land Cruisers and Nissan Patrol SW) fully equipped for desert tours.
