Discover Khartoum and its history. In this amazing full day visit of Khartoum we will discover all the main sites you can visit in the capital of Sudan and then end the day with an incredible experience, the Dervish cerimony*!
* Dervish cerimony is only on Fridays, we can replace it with Nuba wrestling on wednesdays or saturdays.

Pick up from your accommodation in Khartoum with our cultural tour guide. We visit first the Archaeological Museum (from outside, temples and coeloms), has an interesting collection of archaeological items and full temples reconstructed here when moved from the north before the flooding of Assuan Dam. We continue our interesting city tour visiting Omdurman, the old capital of Sudan, where we see the Mahdi’s tomb from outside and the Khalifa’s House Museum, closed for maintenance, museum of the Mahdiya period. Lunch in Al Hosh traditional Sudanese restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to see the Al Mogran Confluence by boat, one of Africa’s geographical highlights. We will see the fast and narrow Blue Nile stretching to Ethiopia joining the wide and lazy White Nile, coming from Lake Victoria.
